Novak Djokovic beat Taylor Fritz 6-3, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 in a tense US Open quarterfinal marked by clashes with a vocal New York crowd. The 38-year-old improved to 11-0 against Fritz and reached a record 53rd Grand Slam semifinal. He’ll face Carlos Alcaraz next as he chases a 25th major. Fritz missed 11 of 13 break chances as the last American man exited the tournament.
